Salon Hygiene

Whether you are just practicing doing your first set of nails or working in a busy salon, you will want to create the right impression. Before seating your client at your table, your work area should be free from existing nail dust. Table towels and monomer saturated towels should be replaced. Your table should be clean, presentable and well organised.

Washing your hands and implements with Hand Sanitizing Wash will remove 99% of surface pathogens. The remaining 1 to 2 percent of contaminants can be removed by spraying hands with Hand Sanitizer Spray or submersing tools and implements in a Soaking Tray containing Disinfecting Dip, (leave to soak for 10 minutes then lift the tray and allow to dry. Tools should be stored in a clean, dry container.)

Hard surfaces can be wiped clean with the Surface Sanitizer Spray and a clean damp towel.

If you are using a terry towel or hand rest use paper roll to protect surfaces, ensure they are replaced and clean prior to each service.
