HOW TO BLEND NAIL TIPS

(only for Natural Nail Tips)

French White, Clear and Coloured Nail Tips don’t require any blending.

Use on all ABS plastic tips to temporarily soften the plastic to make blending the tip easier.

The Nail Tip Blender softens the plastic to allow the technician to blend the tips quicker and decreases the trauma to the natural nail and reduces dust

Apply Nail Tip Blender to the area of the nail tip that overlaps the natural nail, of one tip.

Wait one minute and using a Zebra curved file Taking care not to buff the natural nail or the surrounding cuticle. File the softened plastic off from the outside in.
If more tip needs to be removed, add a little more Nail Tip Blender and wait 20 seconds before filing.

buff the overlap area of the tip into the natural nail.

Gel Application
  1. Apply Nail Prep/Dehydrator and allow to dry to a chalky white

  2. Apply Non Acid Nail Primer and allow to dry, will not dry chalky white

  3. Apply Ultra Adhesion (base bonding) Gel very sparingly to the nail surface from the cuticle out to the free edge. After applying a very thin layer of Bonding Gel, the nail surface should have a dull grainy finish. Too much Bonding Gel will cause nails to lift or peel. If surface appears “wet or shiny” too much has been applied.

Cure Nails with UV Light For 90 Seconds, DO NOT remove sticky residual layer with Gel Residue Remover

  4. Using a Gel Brush, apply (like polish) a thin layer of Sculpture, Builder, or Soakind UV Gel to the nail surface. Cap the free edge by lightly brushing the product along the sides and end of the free edge. Gel on the surrounding skin or cuticles will cause lifting. Wipe off any gel on surrounding skin with a cuticle pusher or Orangewood Stick

  5. Set under UV light for 2-3 minutes

  6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5

  7. Can be filed over if finish is not completely even

  8. Wipe clean with Gel Residue Remover (No Need to wipe over if you don't file over nails)

  9. Apply Mega Gloss Sealer Gel to give a glass like finish Set under UV Lamp for 2 minutes.
  10. Wipe clean with Gel Residue Remover
  11. Clean brush with Lemon Brush Cleaner
