Orangewood Sticks

Orangewood sticks are an essential tool for any nail technician, whether you are mobile or salon based. They will become a very handy little tool and can be used in more ways than you can imagine.

Orangewood sticks (sometimes also simple called orange sticks) are made from orangewood, so are environmentally friendly and are traditionally used by nail technicians for manicures and pedicures. They have a flat end and a pointed end, and can be used to push back cuticles. However many modern nail technicians use orangewood sticks to assist with fine detail nail art, slightly dampened, they can be used to picking up and place rhinestones, and even tidier application of acrylic and UV gel.

The pointed end on the orangewood sticks are great for fine dots in nail art, and to create a marbling effect with nail polish. They are also a useful tool for applying very small nail gems.
